Eva Midgley is a multi-award-winning fashion director and filmmaker. She combines her attention to detail with her sumptuous visual style to create work, charged with emotion, beauty and elegance.
Dutch born Eva Midgley started in advertising at DDB Needham in Jakarta, Indonesia. After working there for several years she went on to direct fashion and beauty spots for AD Magazine, one of the largest weekly newspaper supplements in the Netherlands.
After moving to London, Eva wrote, produced and directed ʻHoney and Bunnyʼ, a short film for Coco de Mer. It won an array of awards and was a finalist at the New York Film Festival. ʻErotic Momentsʼ, a series of seven short films, is Evaʼs latest collaboration with Coco de Mer. Her short film ʻPeepshowʼ was chosen as a participant of the 6th Annual HollyShorts film festival in Hollywood, California, and as a part of the L.A. Shorts Fest in 2010. Although she loves London, Eva currently lives in Brooklyn with her photographer husband, John Midgley, and their children.
