Born and raised in Hamburg, Justus Becker discovered his passion for film and especially advertising at an early age, because even as a child, commercial breaks were never skipped.
He completed his first film while still in high school, however after graduating, he first started his career at an advertising agency – not a bad idea, as this venture was gilded with Cannes Lions and ADC nails.
His passion for making films himself never let go of him and so already during his successful studies at the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg Justus shot his first TV spot. With his scholarship at the UCLA he also internalized the international side of filmmaking.
Today, Justus lives with his wife and his book collection near Hamburg and has worked for clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Procter & Gamble, Playstation, Huawei, About You and Coca-Cola.
