Robert Logevall

Robert is a Swedish born Canadian citizen. He began his career in Canada working in film and TV as an art director and production designer. After a few years of helming the art department he moved on to directing. He has directed a body of award-winning commercials and music videos shot around the world, for clients like Fiat, Chevy, Chase Bank, Coca Cola, Samsung among many others.

He directed the highly acclaimed short film Vexation Island with artist Rodney Graham. The film opened at the Venice Biennale and went on to play at the Tate and other major galleries around the world.

Robert’s first feature film, a Haruki Murakami adaptation, All God’s Children Can Dance, produced by Steve Golin, premiered at Deauville Film Festival.

Robert’s second feature film, American Pets, premiered at Film Festival Kitzbühel. He won best director at the Kosova film festival and the Kubrick award for best feature at the Chicago Art House film festival.

Robert recently wrapped a short film shot in Iceland. Robert lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two kids.
